We host Action Hours to write postcards every Wednesday, 5:30 – 6:30 pm at Nu Kitchen Newburyport. We write to register new Democrats to vote so we can win elections. We inform voters across the country on key issues. By connecting with local, statewide, and national efforts, you'll help mobilize voters and causes where they’re needed most. Help Our Immigrant Neighbors, Here and Around the Country
The ICE surge in Minneapolis is horrifying, as citizens and immigrants alike are swept up in a state-sanctioned violence operation that is less about documentation and more about racism and terrorism. To help Minnesota consider donating to the funds listed here, or to the Immigrant Defense Project here.
Here in Massachusetts, please consider donating to LUCE Mass. They are in need of volunteers, so please also look on their website for where to learn more.
National Tools
There are several tools you can use to report ICE sightings, helping communities stay safe and avoid unlawful arrests.
If you see ICE activity or hear about confirmed activity (not word-of-mouth, not rumors!) please upload that information to these two sites:
There is also a publicly available site called IceList that maintains a vetted and verified record of ICE agents, incidents, vehicles, and more. This is vital to ensuring that those illegally arrested and held have access to real information. Visit ICE List Wiki
Please also SHARE THESE RESOURCES WIDELY — especially to friends and family in vulnerable communities with large immigrant populations.
Vote With Your Dollars
While the combination of money, big business, and politics is too tangled to completely solve, we can all try to punish companies that are actively supporting this regime. Most of us know to boycott Amazon, Home Depot, and Target for their pro-MAGA donations and policies, but there are plenty more. Some resources to help you decide where to spend:
