Whether this is your first protest or your fiftieth, it always feels good to gather in community with others to make your voice heard. But what comes next? Below are some ways to plug in and continue to take action. We need all of us to protect our democracy and work toward a more perfect union.

• Join a local activist group. If you are near Newburyport, join us at Indivisible RISE, but if not, there are plenty of other options. 

• Make sure your elected officials hear from you! Even if they are solidly blue or red, you should still get used to calling to thank them (it really matters!) or tell them you disapprove. You can find their numbers on this website  or use the 5Calls app.

• Support critical state elections by donating and volunteering with Sister District. Some of our most important battles will be at the state level, and these are races where small efforts can make a big difference.

• Involve others! One of the best things you can do is bring more people into the fight! Share this page with friends and family around the country, or invite a few friends over to volunteer together on a phone bank or writing postcards.
